This version is no longer supported by Broderbund (the software make). If you go to the Broderbund website, you will find a 'fix' for this version that does not work. By the time you pass from beginner to intermediate the warranty has expired. Broderbund is aware of this flaw but continues to sell the software. Don't buy it.
